Café Triskell is a cozy French bistro in Astoria, New York, created by Philippe Fallait, a chef born in Brittany, France, where his passion for cooking began at home. Growing up in a large family of 13 siblings, Philippe was surrounded by the rich traditions of French cuisine, inspired by parents with a natural talent for cooking and older siblings who also became chefs. From an early age, he developed a deep respect for authentic flavors, techniques, and the art of sharing food.
After years of refining his skills in France and continuing his culinary journey in the United States, Chef Philippe brings over 35 years of experience in French cuisine and pastry to every dish he creates. At Café Triskell, his mission is simple: to honor his roots and share the true essence of French cooking—both in our restaurant and through our digital cookbooks, where you can learn to recreate authentic French recipes from your own home kitchen.
